Friday night we had a little program for the girls at the house and for the surrounding village kids! It was great fun. This is our living/dining room for the girl's house.
On Saturday afternoon, we piled in whatever vehicle we could and made our way to the town called December 12, and handed out literature and fun things for the kids!
Here we fit 12 people in this vehicle and then David and the boys went on a motorcycle. The rest of us had to wait....for the next ride!
The town we went to was way out and several of the people there had malaria. We are thinking next time we go out there we might try to buy every household a mosquito net. We will see what we can do! The kids were very appreciative of the goodies we gave them. What a GREAT way to spend the afternoon!

Adventure filled weekend. I see happiness, willingness to discover new ideas, deep thoughts/reflections connected to the moment/context of the picture and a sense of expectation in the eyes of those being photographed. The name of the town is quite interesting. It makes me wonder if a particular event helped solidify that name December 12. I am sure that the distributed printed material has been a treat to receive. Indeed, transportation is a real blessing and having the patience to wait for the next ride is character building! Creating interactive ministry programs is important. How nice of the Jensen family to use their numerous talents and skills in this format as well...
